What we collect

  • Account information, including your email address, display name, and optional profile photo.
  • App activity and game data, including groups, invite codes, votes, question feedback, chaos scores, leaderboards, weekly recaps, and share card data.
  • Push notification tokens may be stored if you choose to enable notifications. This does not mean every notification feature is currently active or sending.

How we use data

  • To let you create an account, join groups, invite friends, vote on questions, and see game results.
  • To calculate scores, leaderboards, recaps, and share cards inside the app.
  • To improve questions, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and support users who contact us.

Services that may process data

Problematic may use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Expo/EAS, Apple TestFlight, and Apple App Store services. Those services may process data needed to provide account, storage, testing, distribution, app delivery, and support features.

Ads and data sales

Problematic does not currently sell user data. Problematic does not currently show third-party ads. If ads are added later, this policy may be updated before or when that change happens.

Account and data deletion

You can request account or data deletion by emailing support@problematicapp.com from the email address connected to your account. Include enough detail for us to find your account or group data. We may need to verify the request before deleting data.
